As you've noted elsewhere on this blog, the small rail and S scale track gauge really emphasize the light construction of prototypes such as yours (and mine). The nice thing is, Code 70 is big enough to provide reliable surface contact for the electrical path from track, to wheels, to motor, and it's big enough that it won't kink easily when you're spiking it.
